The BACKRACK Safety Rack is designed to provide complete coverage of the rear window while maintaining clear visibility through the two-inch fully welded wire screen. If cab protection and safety are your primary concerns, then the Safety Rack is the solution you need.

The Safety Rack features a heavy gauge two-inch HRPO square steel frame that is wide enough to support a ladder or carry longer cargo. The welded wire mesh provides full window protection and wider carrying capacity above the cab. Each intersection of the wire is welded to avoid rattling and provide strength, although it may have less flexibility to mount accessory light brackets compared to the Original Rack, and it sits higher above the cab than the Original Rack.

The BACKRACK Safety Rack is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including the 2019-2023 Chevrolet/GMC Silverado/Sierra 1500, the 1999-2019 Chevrolet/GMC Silverado/Sierra 2500/3500 HD, the 2004-2023 Ford F-150, the 2016-2022 Nissan Titan, and the 2008-2019 Toyota Tundra.

Installation is easy, with the appropriate Installation Hardware Kit (sold separately). Standard and Toolbox Hardware Kits are no-drill on most late model full-size trucks, while Low Profile Hardware Kits require minimal drilling.
