(If the bars are uncomfortable, place a thick towel or blanket over the unit before this step.) Relax your neck and shoulders, breathe slowly, and feel the stretch along your spine. Hold this position for 10 minutes, repeating daily.

2. For upper back relief, rotate the Stretch Mate so the higher end of the raised arch is closest to your body. Position the unit a few inches behind you, bend your knees, and plant your feet on the floor. Lie back, resting the midsection of your back onto the arch. Relax your neck and shoulders, breathe slowly, and feel the stretch along your spine. Hold this position for 10 minutes, repeating daily.

3. For a full back stretch, place the end with the higher curve against the base of your spine. Bend your knees, plant your feet on the floor, reach back with both hands to grasp the side rails, and slowly lean back until the unit rests on the floor with your body on top of it, the lower portion of your back directly on the arch. Relax your neck and shoulders, breathe slowly, and feel the stretch along your spine. Hold this position for 10 minutes, repeating daily.
